well, i haven't. i'm still around. i've been disenchanted though since ymi has left. and we all feel the loss, and now we're all of course wondering whether jo-e will follow. and i bet she will, mores the pity.

yup thats right kiddies. we pretty much spent the entire evening working on a puzzle that we bought this weekend. and we finished it too. we're REALLY good at this type of puzzle. we tried another one when kev and rosalie had come to visit. but for some reason we just can't make it through that one. not enough pretty colors to key on i suppose.

OH todays the 13th. thursday is my "niece" krisi's 6th birfday! i need to get her a something, but i'm not sure what just yet. mayhaps i'll head over to zainy brainy this evening. They have good educational fun toys there. and i think thats best for children.

I'm also hoping to get a haircut today. my issue is that my hair always sticks up. and the girl who does my hair. has been not cutting it enough in order that maybe longer hair will stay down. but it doesn't and so i'm left with MORE hair sticking up. and long hair which i HATE. so today i'm going in there and she's going to cut it short, i care not for her objections. i like it better short. and i think it's more manageable. SO hopefully i'll be happier tomorrow with my hair.

SO yesterday on the way home., we got into this big huge theological, philosophical, religional debate/discussion. ranging from evolution/creation to big bang, to the differences of all the major religions out there and what not. and then on to the after-life with a small detour to extraterrestial life. WHEW!

it was quite a discussion, however it did make the ride go quickly!

What are your beliefs and thoughts? mainly i'm not religious at all. but i would raise my children with religion in their lives. i think its up to everyone to make their own decisions, so they have to go in order to form an opinion. besides i think it's good for kids to have.

how about after death? nothing? worm food? heaven/hell? reincarnation? Personally reincrnation appeals to me, just for the whole recycle resuse aspect, regardless of what you get reincarnated as. of course, thats just a best case scenario for me. i live in a far too technical world to really BELIEVE in anything else aside from worm food. sad but true.

pretty much the same reason i'm for evolution over creation.

Now this spawned a whole thought process in my mind this morning as i was putting my shoes on. about how does language start? way back when, people are grunting at each other, and then they come up with words right? but how do you get the meanning of these words across to someone else that doesn't know them? seems interesting to me. and it seems like an AwFUL lot of trouble. when language only pretty much causes more confusion than it solves. don't you agree?

Mike came in today telling me about some special on tv he saw last night, about how there used to be like three different specias of humans. but we're the only one that made it. interesting.
